Since Overwatch is a fast-paced game having that much difference between two player potentially in the same game is simply put unfair. While adding a FOV slider (and making it get to a maximum of 103° like on PC) won’t solve every difference the 2 input will inevitably have, it will surely and fairly level the playing-field much more. 80 is the lowest it goes on PC, so I would imagine that is what it is on console. I feel bad for the console players since there is clearly plenty of performance headroom for a higher fov, so it seems like they just either didnt think to add it or didnt care to add it.
