The midgate enclosure is a good idea if you are a person that either doesn't care about trade in problems, the cost of buying another midgate to trade or sell, or loss of 100% midgate functionality. An enclosure for a 10" sub can be easily built by any decent audio shop or cabinet shop to go under the driver's side rear seat.
