We have exactly the same issues. The image pixelation and garbled audio on all major broadcast channels is constant. This was especially frustrating when the NCAA games are airing. A message kept appearing on the screen that Comcast was having issues. This informed us that it was not a problem with our equipment.

pixalation making DVR playback unwatchable. Closed. Pixelation/sound drop/freeze has been happening for a while. Had the X1 HDR box replaced a few weeks back and had no effect. Seems to only be on DVR playback. Tech was out yesterday and checked the line at the X1 box for noise (pre and post) but saw none, he also did the same at the street box.
The following observations have been recorded and troubleshooting steps completed: Pixelation seems worse in early morning and evening. Pixelation seems even worse with extreme heat or stormy conditions. X1 DVR box replaced (twice) X1 box has been restarted from Xfinity app/chat. Just started having the same problem on local channels only. No streaming issues on Netflix or Prime or HBO Max. Only live TV. But strangely, some local channels have no pixelation. I have heard that replacing the cable from the pedestal to the house has solved this issue for some. Comcast tech will be here shortly.
