Lost ark most fun class reddit.
Coming into lost ark this is the class i wanted to play the most. She didn’t disappoint one bit and exceeds my expectations. DPS is definitely lower than the broken classes like sorc and db, but I main shadowhunter so it’s not really that much difference.
Probably gunslinger. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. As far as I can tell, that’s less of an issue here since there is no real holy trinity. Good classes and moderately preferred : Berserker, Dead Eye, Sharpshooter. Too Popular for parties : Lancer, Gun Lancer, Gunslinger, Scouter. Not hugely popular for parties but popular among players : Arcana, Soul Fist, Striker. REMEMBER : The best class for you is the one you enjoy. Compare it to to other games, Lost Ark's character balance is ... In Lost Ark, when you play for the first time, you have to do a 'tutorial' 1-10 levels. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked.The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities. Just over all a really fun class, it’s like a male sorceress but doesn’t hit as hard and can actually take a few hits.
Get 10 points into charged shot to make it instant cast as fast as you can. It was an OP class where both dealers and supporters were possible, but it was nerfed 4 times in a row. Despite this, it is still very popular in endgame. Lost Ark's endgame is full of death. Therefore, the Gunlancer with the highest survivability (defense + stamina) is a very popular class in the party.

Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc.
GS is one of the most expensive classes. While it is fine to play it without max gear, the absolut top tier damage comes with having everything maxed. Other classes often need some very important tripods and are kinda fine then. Like DB, needs like 5. Destroyer - Imagine putting all your eggs in one basket. Pro: great stats all around. Con: prone to missing important skills. Berserker - Auto-click simulator. Pro: best identity & 2nd best awakening. Con: long cooldowns & mana issue. Holy Knight - White bread of classes. Pro: can support while doing decent damage.
