1) brick wall partitions have a wrong spacing for the doors. 2) simple walls are color-able, simple partitions are not. The latter is real annoying, preventing colored interior rooms. Hence I'm so far using walls internally too, but that in turn has said sizing issues. You can cover up gaps with walls and roofs though.
