Wheel Horse never supplied engine parts but listed them to help owners obtain replacements. Believe the 310-8 used both the K-Series Kohlers and the Magnum-Series so the filters may be different. If you need help post the tractor model number or all the numbers off the engine. Garry.I have searched the data bank and owners manual and cant find a belt length for the 42" rd deck on my 310-8. would anyone happen to know? it is a 1/2" v belt, with one side of the mule drive pulley flat, and the other side is a v pulley. I know others have 2 v pulleys and an egg shaped belt. thanksGranted with ten horsepower you are not going to fly through shin deep grass pulling a 48" deck like a bigger 520H would do....it will do it though at a more conservative speed. The 310-8 is probably better suited to the 36",37" or 42" decks, but will handle a 48" deck if you mow weekly & don't ruff cut once a month.

All attachments for 300,400 & 500 series are interchangeable with a couple of exceptions. In 1986 if the oil level is OK the relay is not activated. If you can remove the oil level switch wiring from the circuit it would give the same result. Oil level low the relay is activated and the power to the starter is interrupted. My parts manual shows that pin as a 5/32" x 1-1/4", you'll probably want to replace it rather than reusing the old one.
