SLIC is a tool to categorize and score the subaxial cervical spine injury based on its morphology, neurologic status, and integrity of the disc-ligamentous complex. It ranges from 0 to 5, with 0 being no abnormality, 1 being complete cord injury, and 5 being disrupted cord injury.
