Feb 24, 2019 · So. We all know. Greirat Dies on the Third Pillaging Run. And So far Nobody knows how to Save him or if its even Possible to Save him. However. There is several Indications that Greirat can be Saved. One of which is that Patches asks for Greirat and Dissappears after you tell him. Thing is. He apparently Fails to save Greirat. There's a few conditions but the first being after you defeat a boss. I'd look him up on the wiki if i were you as he can also die if certain conditions are not met. Maybe they were both imprisoned separately, but Greirat managed to escape and freed all other prisoners before he left and Patches happened to be among those. (The latter would be a long time before DS3. Greirat said he was quite notorious, so he probably was a thief for many years and had many heists. Before sending Greirat to pillage Irythill, I ran into Patches and got him to stay at Firelink, saved Siegward and gave him his armor whilst buying another set off of Patches (NG+). Then AFTER I cleared Irythill up-to the Church of Yorshka bonfire I homeward bone'd back to the Shrine and told Greirat he is good to go.Send Greirat to pillage. Travel to Smouldering Lake via the rope bridge. Cut the bridge, go down, light the Old King's Antechamber bonfire, run past the Sandworm and light the Demon Ruins bonfire. Defeat the Old Demon King. So greirat regrets stealing things and decides to give this ring to her old mother and make her sure that he is a good guy now and he'll never steal again.
